About Curtis

Curtis is a founding partner of Belcher Sykes Harrington, PLLC and he focuses on assisting alcoholic beverage/hospitality and cannabis industry members both inside and outside of the state of Tennessee.

Curtis has vast experience representing manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of alcoholic beverages and his clients include breweries, wineries, distilleries, private equity alcoholic beverage investors, trade associations, importers, festivals and events, entertainment venues, airport facilities and concessionaires, hotels, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, food trucks, caterers, and retail liquor stores. In the cannabis space, Curtis has experience assisting growers, brand owners, processors, carriers, and retailers.  Curtis serves on the Tennessee Medical Cannabis Commission, which he was appointed to in 2021 by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee.

Prior to tailoring his practice over twelve years ago to the areas of alcoholic beverage/hospitality and cannabis, Curtis was a litigation attorney with a focus on business and bankruptcy matters.

Curtis prides himself in his ability to take his unique and vast experience in the alcoholic beverage industry to best advise and counsel his clients.
